Every
thing has a spirit, even common stones. There have been many books written
about the properties of stones, semi precious and precious. I have found
that those books are usually true only for the author. Each of us has
a personal symbology that resonates within our souls about what is true
and what isn't. In this class I will show you how to ask the spirit
of the stones what they can do and how to empower them with a blessing
of your choice.
A blessing you say? Yes I do! Lets talk about Rose Quartz for a moment.
I understand that right now many of you are thinking... "Is used
for emotional healing." You learned that from a book or from someone
who read the book. I follow my dreams, though I don't like or approve
of props as a Shaman, I am taught gently in my sleep. Back to the props.
I see anything that hides the true, pure teaching, as a prop. Like getting
dressed up and singing in a language my students don't understand. Feathers,
crystals, staff's and such, are all props. When I got this dream about
Rose Quartz from the Stone Nation, I was surprised, as they know how
I feel about it. As many of you know, I am not politically correct and
speak my mind. Now I will share my dream.
I was in Iraq, it was very hot, and the people around me had on desert
camouflage and body armor. They carried weapons as did I, though I had
something they did not, a medical bag. As we moved with caution through
the village streets I saw a man in the front get shot in the left leg.
Others located the source of gunfire and began shooting in that direction.
The wounded man kept calling for a Medic, and I found myself running
over there to help. I dragged him close to a building and reached into
my bag for a compress to help stop the bleeding. All I found in there
was a rose quartz stone. It glowed softly in the darkness of the bag.
That being all there was in the bag, I took it out and pushed it onto
the wound. I frantically searched my gear for something more than just
a stone. That's when I heard the wounded man say 'Thanks, don't know
what you did, but that doesn't hurt at all now.' I moved my hand and
looked at the stone I had pushed over the wound. It was clean and there
was no blood. Not even the wound remained. I sat there in disbelief,
and said I don't like props. Then I woke up.
Just because I
am taught gently in my sleep doesn't mean I agree with everything I
learn, that's just me being stubborn. Next Class I took a big bite of
crow and washed it down with some humility. Then I grabbed some Rose
Quarts and showed everyone how to bless an object, in this case the
Rose Quartz to honor my Dream. To everyone's amazement including mine,
the Rose Quartz slowly changed colors, from pink to white. Only the
blessed stones changed colors. I always have a control stone so students
can feel the difference between a blessed object and one that isn't.
This time, however, it was too easy to pick out the blessed stones,
as only the blessed stones were white. After they are used to remove
physical pain they changed back to Rose color and then slowly changed
to white again.
Over the last year the Stone Nation has shown up at my classes as gifts
and now Staff's are showing up. Who knows, this year I may even learn
to sing. Believe me, you don't want to come to that class. This one,
as with all of my classes, is blessed by the Grandfather Spirits. Come
and see what I have learned with humility and a new found respect for
props.
Bring a notebook, as we will also create a color symbology book. Also
bring your favorite stones and I will show you how to ask a stone a
question, and how to read its answer. |
